The first aroma is baloney and american-cheese sandwich, but it didn't stick around long. After decanting for an hour and a half, it's darn good. The fruit is bright but not overwhelming. Cranberry and cherry, maybe a little bit of cola and blueberry. Smooth, medium mouthfeel; strong tannins, but only a thin tooth sweater. Solid, sturdy, nigh brawny wine; more complex than I thought. I'll bet it tastes even better tomorrow.
