Casillero del Diablo 2005 Carménère
(about 1 year ago)Chocolate, coffee, and oak are huge in this wine. Carménère, has the potential to be the next BIG thing. This wine, I believe boasts a slightly better score than what's currently in print 85 WS, 86 WE...I say 87+. Almost 88...there are a few flaws that some might night like...too much Chocolate and Oak...More like a Cigar Box. I enjoy these flavor profiles. I hope you will too!

(about 1 year ago)Beautiful dark color. A lovely nose blackberry cobbler, vanilla nose with just a touch of wet tabacco. Nice dark fruit and a little greeness on the pallet. The mid pallet is the weak point on this one, but the finish is really better than one could expect for the price. Excellent value. Will buy again!

(about 1 year ago)Nice aroma, plum and chocolate taste...would be good with sweets, but not great with steak...good, cheap, easy drinkin' wine...
