Had a very off putting "sherry' component deep in the mid palette, could have been a flawed bottle, but if on purpose not my thing at all

Wonderful floral nose, very different tasting wine compared to others I have had. A great experience!

Dark color. The nose is spice-driven, with tons of clove. Also, wet tobacco and plums. Medium body. Good structure, not too acidic. Long finish with dried figs lingering.
I had this wine with pasta and it was good, but I guess it would have been even better with a meat dish.

rich smooth mouthfeel with cranberry sauce type flavors with a touch of herbs and smoke.
lusciuos and delicious.
A+++ with any red pasta dish or on its own.

Beautiful, earthy nose of smoke, raisins, violets, and cherries. Great tannic and acidic mouthfeel on its own. Sublime with a traditional Marinara sauce. Raisins, smoke and cherries predominate through the very dry finish. A perfect red for hearty, savory dishes.

A Sublime Wine. This is one of the most exciting, unique Italian Red Wines I have ever had.

Bouquet: Tight, had to let this wine breath for about 2 hours to get it to open up. When it did it was a light breeze of dark berries, tarragon, fennel and crisp autumn air.

Flavor Profile: Like liquid red butter. Seriously smooth with hardly any heat. This is a professional wine. Subtle, rich, clean and just beautiful. Touches of Berry, Earth, Hickory, Smokey all tightly pressed into liquid form. Just a gorgeous wine.
