Very green (bitter grass/herbs), with tightly wound bitter tannins. An over abundance of oak rushes in and sticks around for the finish which remains bitter and green. No fruit to speak of.

Very smooth, mildly peppery. Peppery nose with a hint of raspberry, and very sweet, mild berry on the palate, which disappears and is replaced by grass as the wine opens. Fairly plain. I did find it on the discount display at Whole Foods for $5.99, rather than the listed price, and the wine is very satisfying at that price.
