(over 2 years ago)The thick smell of wood came from the bottle even before I poured it and the taste was strong. There was a hint of cherry, but it was otherwise drowned by the oak flavor. I didn't really enjoy this wine, especially without food.

(about 1 year ago)I didn't get as much oak as I thought I might. Nothing to rave about.

(about 1 year ago)Blueberry/Cherry nose with a little oak and earthiness. The taste is sour cherry which transitions into earthier flavors at the end. Finish is fairly short and overall flavors are light. Very nice for the price.

(about 1 year ago)Friend bought it because it had said dog house and he just got a new dog. I tried it out and wasn't terribly dissapointed. Best part about the wine would have to be the mouthfeel. Other than that, oak, cherry, and spice dominate the wine.
