(about 1 year ago)The Merlot and Cab Franc have a noticeable impact on the 93% Cabernet Sauvignon: very lush fruit (black cherries for sure) and easy to drink (tannins were pretty soft). Great for a casual red wine when you don't feel like running your palate through the ringer. Will definitely have again.

(about 1 year ago)Pleasant and smooth start. With first sip, starts very mild..nearly "watered down". As soon as you start to swallow, the tannins kick in and actually becomes very bold, nearly harsh and biting. A little bit too much of an acidic finish for my personal taste. If it finished as smooth as it had started, it would be on my "Buy Again" list.

(9 months ago)The oak is strong on the nose, but is nice. Some chocolate. Some violets. Some hay. Some red plums. Some leather. Chocolate on the attack. Some black cherries & plums on the midpalate. Not too dry. Medium to long finish. Normally not too big on the wood, but it is nice in this one.
