Very strong nose when first opened, already smell dryness, earthy plant, old old leather. I tried it when first opened, very dry, very strong and mildly acidic. Let it air out for a few hours to get a great result. now I could taste the fruits, chocolate covered cherries, marmalade, still dry but not nearly as much as when I first opened it. I'm not a fan of dry red wines AT ALL but this one turned out nice after it sat. Good buy for it's flavor.

Not great. The nose had some cloying cherry and strawberry components, and an annoyingly light vanilla/spice element underneath that. The mouthfeel was flaccid. It just sort of died. The fruit seemed a bit green. Then there was the bitter finish. I could have done without this underwhelming bottle.
