An inoffensive desert wine safe for a housewarming or medium-sized gathering. The grape flavor that comes through from the fruit is coupled with strong pear aroma and flavor. While not a star, this is a solid wine good for sipping or with a fruity dessert.

Our bottle of the Muscat Vin de Glaciere was a 2004 for $20. We sipped it rather generously, which can serve a bit of an overdose of sweetness, but it was a fine dessert wine with definite flavors of apple, pear and caramel.

Lots of baking spice (cinnamon and clove) with some tropical fruits. The acidity cuts the sweetness nicely. Very tasty.

Very drinkable dessert wine. Tastes close to more expensive ice wines that I have had. Sweet and sour with a little apple cider flavor. Not cloying. It would be a 90+ wine if it didn't have a faint, awkward chemical type taste (for lack of better description).
