Nice perfumie nose with hints of strawberry, white pepper and a little oak. A medium bodied pinot, with some strawberry and cherry. Oak coming through a bit to strong on the palate. A creamy finish has good length, but some heat comes along with it. I should disclose that I am not the biggest CA pinot fan, and this is another example why. Oak and high alcohol take over the fruit on this wine and so many other CA pinot's I have tried.
