Beringer 2005 Knights Valley Alluvium Blanc
(about 1 year ago)I really liked this wine (hurray—it was a total impulse buy at safeway). First off, it is a really well balanced wine. There are some nice flavors of melon and a bit of peach up front, but not it’s not overwhelmingly sweet. The mid-palate has some nice structure going on. There’s a real subtle acidity in a pretty long delicious finish that just makes your mouth water. Bravo.

(about 1 year ago)The nose led me to believe that I would be facing another dry white wine; however, that was not the case. This wine was anything but dry. Slight citrus nose with a touch of melon; very tough to detect any details. Slight cream texture, but no cream flavor. Overall, a pleasant white.
