Good ruby color. Dark berries and oak on the nose. Taste follows loyally with, you guessed it, dark fruits and oak, a bit of acidity and relatively intense and chewy tannins. Delicious now for the tannin-lovin' crowd - others will undoubtedly find that the tannins overpower everything else. This wine might be spectacular with some cellar time, as long as the fruit holds up. I'll check again in a year!
