Duo 2005 Sauvignon Blanc
(about 1 year ago)The nose on this wine was really nice: hints of grapefruit, grass, and even a little lemon peel. Reminded me of a New Zealand Sauv. Blanc. But the taste....just wasn't there. A little acidic, but not really over come with any real flavor; nothing stood out. A decent wine, but not at full price.

(about 1 year ago)The nose on this wine doesn't set the stage for a very pleasurable forth coming. It smells like sour patch kids and grapefruit. This is grapefruit rind shaved into a frying pan and reduced and reduced and reduced. This is BOMBER grapefruit, this is so much grapefruit it reminds me of my grandmothers underwear ok? Serious grapefruit on the nose. There is a subtle crisp pear note coming through as well but it’s mostly buried under grandma’s grape fruit under wear. And that’s just the nose. One sip, and it’s all over. Words simply can’t describe how unbelievably horrific this wine is. This is that expired Capri Sun you left in the glove box of you black car in Arizona over the summer, mixed with nutrasweet sweetner and a grapefruit rind. I mean seriously, this wine is so bad… Wow. The finish is, well, me in agony looking for words to describe this shit. This is Tammy Faye Bakker fake. High fructose corn syrup, fake body, runny make-up, fake through and through. This wine drink is Bad. The worst white wine I’ve had in my 21 years of tasting wines. I’d rate it 2 points if I could. One point for being wet, and 1 point for being alcohol.
