Do not be fooled by the golden monkey on the bottle. This wine has no taste, nor much of a smell; it has a little bite, but not much else.

I tasted this wine at an Octoberbest festival at a Weingarten and I would rate it a little higher than the previous poster (60) but only because of the uncanny taste of smoked cheese on the finish. It is just bizarre! There is pretty much no flavor until the finish and then all you can taste is smoked cheese (like a Gouda or a Cheddar). If you see it cheap anywhere, it's seriously worth it just for the sheer amusement.
