I guess that tawny's aren't quite as up my ally. Don't get me wrong, this wine was a good wine. I know some people would prefer this but....NOSE: After the alcohol blew off it still smelled very much like cough syrup with lots of sugar. A very carmelized fruit aroma came out which was nice. PALATE: Thick, chewy, yummy. ALong with the nose, this also had some figgy/raisiny flavors. Altogether pretty good.
