Crisp and fruity, with a strong blackberry and black cherry finish, this recent vintage is playful and complex already. I can't wait to try another bottle in about two years. I paired this with a filet and some swiss chard.

(about 1 year ago)This tough mama is doing something with malbec that to my palate is rather unique. Far from extracted and dense, this wine is bright, refreshingly acidic and quite round in the mouth. On the nose i get a super cool mix of hard fruit candy with a dash of high grade marijuana. Definitely a winner.

(about 1 year ago)Young wine full of blackberries, black cherries and a bit of briars and herbal undertones on the nose and mouth. Nice tannis and good mouth feel. Shows a bit of raw heat on the back of the throat with a moderate finish. Overall the taste is much closer to a Cab than a malbec. I would like to try it again in about two years.

(9 months ago)Intriguing experience: spice, acid and a touch more alcohol than pleasant. And, somehow it all works together and has your palate wanting more. I'll be buying more if only to figure it out.
