Cantina Dolianova Monica di Sardegna Arenada 2005
(about 1 year ago)Nice QPR. A nose of red, ripe berries, peat and hint of liquorice, with a nice pleasant mid-palate and a decent finish. Went very well with the grilled Italian sausage wigth pepper and onions.

(10 months ago)Really pretty raspberry on the nose with a bit of earthiness. Light red fruit flavor, a bit of dry dirty flavor as well. Nice light red with very light tannins. A real easy drinker.

(9 months ago)Opens up very nicely, desperately dry, good food pairing with a pasta.

(9 months ago)definitely a pasta wine. in fact I want to cook my pasta in this wine!! Dirt, black cherries and must on the nose. Cassis and cherries on the palate with major tannins that calm eventually. Nice for the price.

(4 months ago)GREAT, different darn wine. I mean different. Very earthy tones on the nose. Tones of sparragus, artichokes, some chocolate on the palate, with a beautiful peppery finish. Tons of pepper on the finish. Beautiful acidity on this wine makes it a GREAT pizza wine. Awesome tanginess.
