Martin Codax Albarino 2006 Rias Baixas
(about 1 year ago)There’s some light lemon peel on the nose with some minerals and damn, even a little coconut soap. Some very very slight fig and pear. There’s a little sour patch kid in a good way on the palate, bing cherry, and a bit of a sour finish. Tart all the way through and not bad, but not great. For $14 you can do better. Drinkable yet unremarkable like the girl next door.

(about 1 year ago)I actually like this for the price. You won't get an elaborate wine review out of me, but for the price...good taste all around and compared to other Albarinos I've had in the same price range..this is one of the better.

(3 months ago)Hints of pear. Nice balanced refreshing wine.
