Pio Cesare
(about 1 year ago)Heavy chocolate on the notes with dark berry. Tastes like beautiful raisin and dark bitter chocolate, green bell pepper. Super long finish, very well structured and high levels of tannin; very dry. I loved this wine, it was so soft and balanced. Drank it with bacon wrapped filet.
Pio Cesare
(about 1 year ago)Decanted for 2 hours before serving. Nice dark fruit on the nose. Wonderful grip on the palate, with dark cherry and chocolate notes. Really long finish. A pleasure. Should open up even more with a couple more years of bottle age.
