Smooth, palatable, slightly fruity, very good for the price. I would gladly serve this to guests on any occasion calling for a good red.

Tried this wine in HADM 430 at Cornell. This wine smells of black currant, cigars, cherry, and a bit of herbs. It also smells like band-aids, and a bit smoky too. The taste is thick with tannin and it sticks to the tongue, it's a bit dusty and smoky as well.

This is my favorite wine to go with steak at Houstons Steakhouse if I order by the glass. Ripe with tannins with a soft hint of vanilla and caramel on the finish. At 9 bucks per glass, its not shabby at all!
