All the hype, dear god let’s put this to bed. Molly Dooker 2006 two left feet (named in honor of my sister and her husband). The color is nice. It’s batman cave black, really really dark man. A nice red and black color that is pointing towards massive neutron bomb status, I’m getting excited. The nose is ok. I get a lot of black plum left on the tree too long, some dried black cherry, no sour bing cherry here at all, but I sense that this wine is a bit too over juiced (too much alcohol). There’s a bit of a, crap I dropped my vodka bottle in the plum orchards and it shattered going on here. Reminds me of a wine Willy Wonka might make. I like the nose but I’m not loving it. Right off the bat I taste that neutron bomb of down under fruit, there’s some slight plastic notes coming through like you burned a zip lock baggie or played with your he-man dolls and then crushed some grapes for this wine. I sense some dark ass fruit, not sure what, but it doesn’t matter because there is too much funny car fuel (alcohol) going on with this wine. This is a wine I want to love but simply can’t. Too over juiced for my palate and although it has some good fruit structure that is almost even somewhat complex, this is a YELLOW light wine for me. You can stop and forget about it, or you can run the light and pick it up anyway. Ehh. Your call.

Big, bold, & fruity. Lots of sediment to the point where I was reading "tea-leaf" grape entrails left on the bottom of my goblet. Nice and dark, a tad spicy, but not mysterious enough for me to want to dance a dual left-footed jig.

An over-bearing amount of fruit in this wine - too much like Smuckers Jam for my taste buds.
