Karma karma karma karma karma chameleon.... Wow, does this wine change... Open for about 2 hours before tasting and as I did this one presented itself as a moving target. From a very non-focused fruity wine it went to a very funky-mushroomy taste and finally the oak appeared to rip this wine appart. Even worse, this Syrah made this trip several times, unfortunately for it, I scored it at the phase where the oak dominates. Good thing is that the wine itself is not flabby and the mid palate kept a good amount of the funky "stage" it went through. Not horrible.

Not a stand-alone wine. Better with food. (Mushrooms ground the flighty taste). Fruity. Not remarkable. Label says silky but it's not. Redeeming quality-it has a nice warm feeling going down. Cheap.
