Peachy Canyon Old School House Zinfandel 2004
(about 1 year ago)Bouquet: Mr. Bubble meats the Rasberry, imagine the little hairs and all. A very meaty almost rotting fruit wine. Interesting nose. Packs a wallop. At the tail end hints of rubbing alcohol. Flavor Profile: Touches of Andes Mints, light roast coffee with almost a rasberry schnapps like taste. Tail end dripping in a rasberry jam meets alcohol-like end. For 22 bucks I don't agree with Gary on this wine. It is interesting and is a transition between say the Sky Zin and the Gravity Hills, but a middle of the road I prefer to pass over with as little fanfare as possible. Okay wine, if you have the cash open your palate up and pair with the Gravity Hills and Sky.

(9 months ago)Viscous, ample, dark, fruity, resourceful, and complex. A little rough transition from mid to end almost takes away the 90 points.
