Plume Bleue 2005 Grenache/Syrah
(about 1 year ago)Very dark, nice color. Pungent nose of plum, blueberry and spice. Light to medium body, very fruit-driven, acidic red. Very vegetal and a ton of pepper on the finish, but not in a good way. The veg and pepper creates kind of a long, bitter finish that doesn't leave a very good taste in one's mouth. Would probably pair well with certain foods, but on its own, its almost unpleasant. Not my style.
