Kirkland 2004 Barossa GSM
(about 1 year ago)Upon opening the GSM flavors pop out and tease the nose with expectations of an awesome blend. At first it was very drinkable, no need to breathe at all and was a medium body wine but I did expect more substance. After a half hour the wine broke down into a fruity plum juice. It was drinkable but it was not fun to swirl, sniff, and drink. Not worthy of washing the good glasses. A disappointment, like buying the Quiet Riot Mental Health album in the 80's. One hit and the rest of the album was difficult to listen to. Just like the second song on the QR album, no need to go further after the first 10 minutes.
