As the bottle says, this is "a one of a kind sinful blend of seven old vine deadly zins". And I fully agree with the commandment, "Indulge!". Despite it's initially musty scent, just 10-15 minutes of air-time turns this into one of the most gluttonous wines around, especially at 15% ABV. It has a strong and full burst of dark deep fruit flavors, and leaves a truly delectable aftertaste. This wine is a nice pairing with any kind of Italian food, or with cracker-type appetizers.

It has a pretty color, with interesting shades of pink. As for the nose, my first whiff of this wine was slightly dirty, or "musty" as the first reviewer put it. Wasn't sure quite what to make of it. Letting it open up seemed to help, and frankly I'll decant this wine next time around. Oh, and there WILL be a next time around, because the taste is quite luscious. Feels like soft velvet in the mouth, and tastes just as soft. There is a tad of spice here, and the fruit/floral balance is great! Pleasingly sweet and gentle, too. The peppery finish is actually very impressive to me. A solid 90+. It's wines like this that I blame for my zinful lifestyle.

Bouquet is strong alcohol at first. Decant for 30-60 minutes. Not as bold as I would have expected. But that can be a good thing!
