(about 1 year ago)Fake cherry syrup/cherry Halls cough drop smell on the nose. Lots of red berry and cherry on the front palate that kinda goes to smoke and cranberry on the mid to a slight oaky finnish. It was pretty good.

(10 months ago)Very dark in color. Cherries, perfume, and candied apple on the nose. The only flavor I could really pick out was cherry and then a LOT of alcohol. The finish is short, the alcohol is too high, and overall this is just not an exciting wine.

(10 months ago)Dissapointing wine for 15 bucks. I know there's a lot of excitement these days about the Australian Shiraz-Viogniers, but this Yalumba just doesn't cut it. Lots of artificial elements in the nose and one dimensional flavors. Tasted more like a $7 Shiraz.

(5 months ago)One the nose, candy apple, cherries, a flowery aroma. Very sugary and packed with fruit. If you like this over syrupy red cherries flavor you want get it any stronger than here. If you dont like the popular Australian sugar shiraz, then steer clear of this one.
