Bouquet: The Dark Earth. Ripe Porcini Mushrooms, leather, aged Porterhouse, touches of roasted Pecans and cheese. EARTHY. Not Fruity.
Flavor Profile: Very ripe almost stale black/sour cherries mixed with Truffle oil, dark-dark dirt. Nice strong tannins hold this up nicely. Finishes appropriately dry, very firm. This would be a nice pairing with Porterhouse, Lamb, Gnocchi. This is a loan shark kinda wine, strong, intimidating, but can make a good tomato sauce.

Very nice... interesting bouquet of stinky cheese, mushroom, and other earthy notes. Flavor profile is very dry, more earth and definitely some cherry components. Firm tannins. Medium finish. Old-world style. Recommended.
