The color is a nearly perfectly golden Chardonnay color. The nose is most immediately a buttered corn and canned pears. The palate is quite complex...very sweet tropical pineapple taste on the tip of the tongue, slightly peppery/spicy taste on the mid palate, and a somewhat oaky buttery long rich finish. The alcohol is somewhat evident as well, but not over powering.
