Clarendon Hills 1998 Kangarilla Vineyards Grenache
(about 1 year ago)The color on the tilt is partly cloudy with a 30% chance of dark roses giving way tonight to a mostly medium garnet. The nose is a pleasant mixture of twizzler, pepper, and what your fingers smell like after touching fresh herbs (?) like thyme, rosemary, parsley etc. On the palate i get a silky texture up front that gives way to mellow tannins. the finish displays sour cherry, mild leather, coats the palate well, and lasts a good amount of time.
