Ripe, lush and bright. No candied strawberry notes that I so frequently get in Cali Pinots. A bit of tart rubarb and stewed tomato, typical of Santa Maria Pinot. Not drinking with food, but would be great with grilled salmon! I would definatly buy again.

Very smooth, full bodied. Great upon opening. Second day, not so much.

This was rather un-Pinot-like! We blind-tasted and mistook it for a Merlot or a blend. Earthy with cloves and nutmeg on the nose. The oak comes through a bit more than you expect, but also has nice cherry and cranberry flavors. It improved a bit as it breathed in some air, but was still fairly robust without pairing it with food.
