Rosso di Montalcino
(about 1 year ago)Beautiful blackberry color with ruby highlights, barely transparent. Alcohol on the nose at first; let it breathe! Nose of ripe red currants and blackberry. Full and bright fruit flavors on the palate interrupted by firm tannins and a distinctive smokiness. Medium bodied with good acid. Long, smoky finish. If you get the chance snag this one!
