Artezin Wines 2004 Zinfandel
(over 2 years ago)Surprisingly good for a cheaper wine, this Zin was a bit darker than most I've had recently. Getting happy with a bottle of Artezin would be a good time. Decent label design.

(about 1 year ago)A solid 3.5 stars. Some nice notes of fruit (blackberry and cherry, mainly)on the palette--along with a strong flavor of bacon (which sure surprised me). A nice hint of white pepper in the finish. It's interesting and a helluva lot more complex than I was expecting for a $13 zin.

(about 1 year ago)Spicy mocha and smooth supple black and white pepper that changes as it moves across the palate. I thought this wine had great balance and is a great value for the price. One of the easier to drink Zinfandels.

(about 1 year ago)Big, bold wine out of Napa. The nose of this wine is primarily dominated by berries and spices. It was smooth and the berries, particularly blackberry, shone through. There is also a distinct note of pepper to this wine. Smooth and long finish, well-balanced! This wine complemented the spicy, sweet nature of jerk seasoning - this time jerked chicken.
