I opened this bottle tonight and while I enjoyed it, I definitely wasn't blown away by it. Now, my palate is fairly immature at this point, but I'm smelling a mixture of soap and whiskey in the aroma and I taste a hint of black pepper. The wine was spicy and much wetter than I was expecting and it ended up tasting great with a spicy Mexican soup I paired it with. Overall, I'd say it was interesting, but not particularly pleasurable.
