Hyatt Vineyards 2001 Syrah
(about 1 year ago)The Color : nice dense purple. ----- The Nose : not bursting. not tight. small amounts of cinnamon cookie, wild blackberries, and rubber pool float. looks like the producer lists wild blackberries on the label as well. ----- The Palate : tasty oak and dark berries but not a complete "monster bomb". some spice and slight amounts of coco powder in the mids. firm tannins for a bottle in this price range. a little heat on the finish that burns off quickly. ----- big QPR!!!
