Very smooth with loads of American Oak, intense crushed berries on the front palate, tapering off with a rounding tannin through the subtle finish. On the finish, notes of cedar, cigar box, and subtle earth were present. Very nice Syrah, needs decanting and probably not ready to drink for 5+ years.
