(9 months ago)Bouquet: Apricot, Acorn and Melon. MMMMMMMMM. Flavor Profile: Lovely body. Smooth, touches of citrus and papaya. Hints of Honeysuckle and actual honey. Grape fruit and ginger rounds out the finish. Matches the Alsatian Pinot Gris sip for sip.

(8 months ago)floral bouquet with a melon and apple flavors..... However I got a long finish that I did not like at all, a plastic flavor. Could not finish bottle Sorry to bring down the score
Nec-otium Pinot Grigio 2006
(8 months ago)Very pleasant nose of nuttiness and fresh apples. Amazingly thick and full mouthfeel, with nicely balanced acidity. Good apple and citrus on the mid-palate. The finish is quite long but it has a somewhat non-delicious flavor of like sour lemons wrapped in spinach. I would have given this a much higher rating, but the finish killed it for me.

(7 months ago)I also wanted to like this wine; there were some pleasant notes. I could not ignore the the awful mildewy flavor on the finish. My husband was tasting with me and loved the wine, so I know the bottle was not corked.

(7 months ago)Awesome hazelnut, toast, and orange peel bouquet. The mouthfeel is very heavy for a Pinot Grigio. Citrus and peanut on the midpalate. The finish was slightly off balance and hot; otherwise would have scored much higher.
Nec-otium Pinot Grigio 2006
(6 months ago)Somewhat of a wooded bouquet at first, then a little bit of a floral smell. A smooth finish that lingered almost a hair too long, but amazing with a tight taste. An apple component that really made the taste a great value.
