Berry, cherry and not much more. Had it with a paella dish I made and it was certainly a disappointment. Had a tart finish. Tasted like cheap box wine to me. It was only $5.00 though.
Day 2: Tried it again this afternoon and I actually think it got worse. Acidic with a tart cherry flavor. Coarse tannins finished. Remember, only $5.00, but would not buy again.

Nice raspberry and spice on the nose. Semi-transparent color. Great red berries on the palate with solid tannins that aren't too much. Crazy sour cherry taste on the finish. Loved this wine!

Must let it breathe. Not good the first day. But a pretty solid wine the second day. 2nd day develops good flavor and less bitterness.

Very smooth wine... has a nice feel over the tounge... with a touch of fruit flavor

Great color. Bright fruit with a hint of spice on the nose. Great mouthfeel with long, balanced finish.

Translucent ruby color. Really a yummy nose here. Raspberry and strawberry jams, with hints of cinnamon and milk chocolate. Some earth in the initial nose, but it blows over. Silky smooth mouthfeel. Tasty sour red fruits. Some nice acidity and tannic structure but very easy drinking wine with a smooth finish. I will definitely get this again if I can save up for the huge $5 price tag. ;)

Bouquet: Bacon, Fennel, Wild Mushrooms with Strawberries nestled in the back.
Flavor Profile: Incredible mouth feel. Like 2% milk. Not overwhelming just a nice coat. Sour Cherries, plum, with touches of orange peel. Nice finish. Not too dry. For 5 bucks an outright steal. This is the cheap Portuguese wine I have been looking for. Note: Let this wine breath for a good two hours before drinking. The open bottle/decanter definitely brings this wine out for the good!
