2001 Duca Belisario
(about 1 year ago)Pecan pie. Smells like it, tastes like it. But in kind of a restrained way, you know? It doesn't beat you over the head with its sweetness, because the tannin structure and age give it a nice balance. The color is almost like black ink. The weight is significant and the finish is long and smooth. This wine makes you want to speak Italian. Ciao.
