Well, this was certainly one of the most enjoyable wine experiences i have had in the last year. I paired this beside a rack of venison with a red currant and dried cherry sauce along with sauted fennel. Amazing. If you're a red cherry fan and want a well balanced, velvety wine then this is a must. I thought that for as long as it sat in oak (14 months) it was well integrated. Excellent. I will definately buy two more to lay down.

At 26 bones, this is a steal! Cigar box mingles with sweet green mint on the palate, with subtle black fruit lurking in the background. This wine is drinking beautifully now and could probably still age a couple more years. Would be delicious with any meats off the grill.
