Korbel Brut
(over 2 years ago)The cheapest drinkable sparkling wine - do yourself a favor and spend the extra couple bucks on the Chandon
Korbel Brut
(over 2 years ago)Honestly, if you're at the point where you're chugging bottles of after shave, it's time to detox.
Korbel Brut
(over 2 years ago)Eh, not a champagne fan. I guess it's not bad as compared to other champagnes though. The price is good.

(about 1 year ago)I unashamedly love Korbel -- possibly because the winery is in such a sweet little spot among the redwood trees in the Russian River Valley -- because it's affordable and very drinkable. I like my white wines as dry as possible, and champagne is no exception (I can't stand sweet champagne! Ick!). Korbel Extra Dry Brut is the one I'll reach for again and again over almost any other sparkling wine.
Korbel Brut
(about 1 year ago)Light color, little nose and an insipid, one-dimensional, off-dry flavor. Compared to Gruet Blanc de Noirs, it came off as soda pop.
Korbel Brut
(about 1 year ago)a little bitter on the finish, but not unpleasant in any way.
Korbel Brut
(about 1 year ago)Vinegary and far too acidic to ever be pleasant. Astringent and honestly, a little painful in the mouth....like swishing with original flavor Listerine.
Korbel Brut
(about 1 year ago)Dry, but interesting on my palate. Sorry if I don't use the lingo, I haven't got it all down yet, but I don know what I like. I love this sparkling treat. Such snarky comments from some! But I like it. Dry Dry Dry. I first had it on my honey moon many 'moon' ago...sadly that marriage didn't last but my taste for Korbel Brut has lingered.
Korbel Brut
(11 months ago)Drinkable sparkling wine. Takes a moment to get past the initial disagreeable notes. A nice finish.
