2004 Urban Ribera
(2009-02-13 23:16:10 UTC)I had the 2005 and the "sale" price was $15 (I saw others were getting for $11!, I wish). No matter since I throughly enjoyed. Soft and easy drinking, I detect a chocolate hint alongside berries/cherries and a hint of spice. Very lovely mouthfeel.

(2007-12-31 01:52:53 UTC)I can't understand how an expert (Miller) considers this a 90 pt effort. It suffers from being far too hot, hot enought to burn my throat. Otherwise, it has a nice nose with hints of mint and vanilla. Good dark fruits on the mouth, a tad too sour for my taste. But overall the finish is dominated by excessive alcohol. Even at the low price point ($11), this wine isn't worth it.

(2007-10-01 00:15:44 UTC)Bouquet: Strawberry Twizzlers, mixed with Cocoa Powder, Fennel, Bacon. Wow what a nice comfy nose.
Flavor Profile: Sour Cherry mixed with fresh cracked pepper. Nice long finish, finishes comfortably dry. Tannins are nice foundations. A meaty wine that I could see being very flexible with food. This wine bends very nicely. For 11 bucks probably one of the best Tempranillo's I have had from under 11 bucks. Good, good, good!
