2007 Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc
(8 months ago)Stellar wine, especially for the price. Not particularly strong in complexity, but that said, this pretty darn well captures the essence of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Very recommended.

(8 months ago)Nice floral notes on the nose. Pear/apple, and a trace of lychee? "herbacious"

(5 months ago)citrus with superb grapefruit flavors. I especially enjoyed the bitterness that comes with the grape fruit. Also hints peach in the finish, and a slightly floral nose. good stuff

(2 months ago)Lots of fruit! Pear, a little bit of peach. May be too overpowering for some, but I like it in a sav. blanc.

(2 months ago)Grapefruit juice, with slices of dried apricot and really tart crab apples. Very crisp, very light, but a nice color for a NZ Sauvignon Blanc. Nothing life-changing, but a great food wine, a great summer wine, and not so much acidity that you feel like your mouth is getting cut up. Very serviceable and for the price, it brings more interesting fruit to the table. I think some of the ratings on this wine are a little crazy (high), but it's very good for what it is.
