2004 Thalvin Medaillon Cabernet

Light legs, smooth flow. Immediate taste of oak and jasmine is followed by a hint of ripe cherries, and afterwards a slightly dry finish. Though this wine's alcohol content is 13.2%, the initial burst of oak and floral fragrance minimizes any sting, leaving the alcohol to complement the wine properly.

Moroccan wines are not widely available in the States (this one was purchased in Morocco), but this bottle was certainly up to my standards! See www.thalvin.com.
