Aromas of berries and herb, flavors of dark cherries, berries, chocolate and a hint of green pepper. Medium tanins, and a bit of spice in the medium oak finish. One of the better cabs tasted in this price range.

Upon first sniff I thought I was in for a trip to the lumber yard, but it opened up nice after decanting and the oak character passed. Med. body, low-med tannins, good acidity. Nice berry flavors with a little spice. Not too over the top for a cab.

I'm a big fan of Cabs, but this was one of my least favorites. The first glass was mediocre, however this wine grew on me. Don't let the fancy bottle and catchy name get the best of you. It's drinkable, but for the price try something a little better.

Listen, this isn't the fanciest wine made in Cali, nor is it the cheapest, but I tell you this: it made me happy. I wanted something dependable, which would likely taste like fruit, oak, and vanilla.. and guess what? This delivers. So, I say, I like it. :) Hooray!
