My wife and I drank a bottle of this last week. It opened up a lot after being in the glass. Offered up a berry nose, with dried cranberry and raspberry in the front/mid palate, continuing onto a nice spice note. Not overly dry, with firm tannins, but it disappeared on the finish for me.

Aromatic nose of dried fruit, black licorice and orange peel. Dry on the palate with considerable acidity and evident tannins. Reasonably well-balanced but lacking extract. Aromas are promising but the flavours on the palate fail to deliver. Decent length on the finish. Not bad value considering the price.

Thick, surprisingly strong with a sweet start. Finishes slightly spicy and not-very-dry.
