Nice to drink while cooking dinner or reading and not paying particular attention to the wine. Not bad but not great.

BV Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon has been one of my favorite wines for a number of years, a go too in the $15 range. This vintage didn't impress me as much, I remember it being more peppery with a bit more tannins. A strong and bold cab, this one was more melow, with a nice and subtle finish. I guess a lot of people would say it makes it better, but I disagree. Some of the 2001 and 2002 were just better to me. A good solid wine that I'd in the past sometimes rate into the low 90's. Now more in the above average category for the price really and how smooth it is.
