Puyméras 2004 Côtes du Rhône
(over 2 years ago)Drinkable, but only just. I consider this wine to be way to fruity for a Côtes du Rhône. It's fruity to the point where it tastes like fruit juice left out to long in the sun. It also seems to not have much depth to the flavour and leaves colour stains on the toungue. However, I think the mistake was not leaving it age for another two years or so. Just under that overbearing fruitiness, there's a few hints of a better wine. With age, this could be a very good wine.
