Very bright fruit aroma with slight hints of vegetables. Disjointed flavor ... a little tannic, alcohol comes through strong, fruit and vegetable flavors fight each other. Too hot I have had better $10 wines.

This is a really good wine but as with all high alcohol wines it needs to be decanted for quite a while to fully enjoy. If you don't let this one breathe you will miss out on the complexities of this wine. This has become our "house wine" as of late because it is so smooth and really reasonable for the quality that you get (as is the case with most but not all Kirkland/Costco label wines). This and Frontier Red are our favorite table wines.
