Premiado Torrontes 2006
(about 1 year ago)Nose: Mike's Hard Lemonade, lemons, custard (like inside of a lemon tart), and lime. Taste: lemon, coconut shavings, white grape juice. This wine was DELICIOUS! First of all, it just smelled good. I could have sat there smelling it all night. But also it was crisp and very well balanced; not too sweet or dry. There was a creaminess as well that reminded me of the inside of a pastry. Just all around delicious and I wish I had bought more bottles!

(about 1 year ago)This wine got better over a few days. I drank it over 5 days using the vacucin in between tastings. Originally scored 88 and was drinking a 91 on 5th day; amazing. The nose is extremely expressive with floral notes, tropical fuit, citrus, and a hint of grapefruit. The mouthfeel is crisp and light. Cut grass, grapefruit and tropical fruit dominate the midpalate. Grapefruit in a reasonably long finish. Amazing value.

(about 1 year ago)pale yellow color. Sublime nose of pear, lemon peel, lychee fruit, honey and dill. lemon peel on the palate with long herbal/floral finish. a bit lacking in the mid-palate. if this wine tasted as delicious as it smells it would be an astounding effort. unfortunately it just doesn't.

(9 months ago)Very clean color. Extraordinary bouquet of peach, lychee and honey. Very fruity entrance on the palate that evolves onto a bitter finish. Such bitterness makes this wine a very elegant and nice salad (food) wine. Very well balanced and distinguished in its approach and profile.
