Dievole Rinascimento
(about 1 year ago)nose of cassis, vanilla and raspberry a little baking spice.Nice mouthfeel, good foward blackfruit. However a little bitter tannin throws it off a bit before a nice raspberry finish.this wine pairs well with semi hard italian cheeses and the bitter tannins are smoothed out when accompanied with food. All in all good wine not great but good.

(7 months ago)Just an exceptional wine from some incredibly unfashionable and traditional Tuscan grapes - very different from the normal Chianti or Supertuscan fare, but it has so much character, so much complex structure and an incredible smooth finish that you wonder why they aren't being prized more by the italian winemakers.
